We’ve heard about class action from cigarette smokers, but what about joint action to sue companies post peak. It would be amazing if someone doesn’t try and sue someone! Your thoughts?

As long as you can blame, you can sue, isn't it ?

A more interesting question is whether the smaller nations that trusted agencies like the USGS and US DOE to supply accurate data will hold the US accountable for telling them that PO woundn't arrive until 2037. Lets face it, Bush launched a sneak attack energy war in 2001. Meanwhile, Helen Clark's NZ govt and euro companies like EADS (airbus) were planning for another three decades of growth in oil supply and $25 oil.

(Not to mention that Don Brash's big plan is to build more roads in NZ - he still doesn't have a clue.)
