Hm, I don't know, for an introduction peakoil.org doesn't seem too bad.

Peakoil.com is for the next level of enlightenment - and besides, do you really want a bunch of SUV drivers here who claim that there is enough oil and its all the fault of the Arabs? Actually that would be quite fun! Change it to PO.com!

I'm not sure why we would want to start a fight with them.

I'm a hardcore doomer and firm believer but I could very well be wrong. So while I'm more then happy to explain why I believe this, and give the evidence that I believe backs me up I don't need to go and force this on others that don't believe and I definitely don't need to be vulgar about it.

Having said all of that I found out about peakoil a few years back when someone posted a link in the slashdot comments to a very doomerish all black page about life after everyone starves to death. So getting word out there does help but no need to be a dick about it.
