Where is BIGG??

I miss his optimism. His optimism and "tech will save us" posts make me not go crazy, and give me hope that maybe society can survive. I need him back, especially with oil just hitting $65.

Wow, I’m having déjà vu. I think maybe this has been covered already but perhaps the thread has been deleted?

Without Bigg the energy tech forum is much more quiet due to the lack of cut and paste press releases…

Though I agree optimism (even if blind) is a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark sky.

Yes I started a similar thread because I was going in some sort of BiGG withdrawal syndrome. Apparently there was a "BiGG Ban" a few weeks ago

In essence BiGG had a very bad habit of making the forums uncomfortable because 2 out of 3 posts were out of line.
You observed it from the start
Now you’re a million miles apart
As we bleed another nation
So you can watch you favorite station
Now you eyes pop out your sockets
Dirty hands and empty pockets
Who? You!

Moderators,

Please let Bigg come back. I'm sure he is sorry:)

I'm sure he'll be on better behavior, when he comes back:)

I have the need to see a giant windmill farm post, a new hydrogen powered car breakthrough, or some new technology that will save our desperate asses!!

I'll second that. I have been really depressed since oil prices crossed $65.

While I agree it’s good to have optimistic postings, you don’t need Bigg to find them. Try Google. Optimistic press releases are everywhere. Companies love telling the world how great they are.

http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=energy+project+breakthrough&meta=

I think the problem with Bigg wasn’t that he was overly optimistic; it was that he was extremely rude and antagonistic.

The energy forum is much less active now... I say let him back, but if he starts a flame war send the thread to the hall of flames real fast and forget about it.

I miss his rude bastard posts too, really not a pleasent person, but apparently he was threatening in some PMs.

I found it easier to laugh than to get annoyed with him. :)

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Hawkcreek', 'I') think it just adds weight to what some others have already said. Most of the moderators are doomers, and people like Bigg are not appreciated on this forum.

BiGG was banned for being a BiGG a$$hole, not a BiGG optimist.

BiGG disappeared as soon as Spike (aka Mike Lynch) came on line.

Coincidence? I think not.
