Shipment of high explosives intercepted in Iraq
Most sophisticated of roadside bombs reportedly coming from Iran

By Jim Miklaszewski
Correspondent

PENTAGON - It’s the number one killer of American troops in Iraq: roadside bombs.

The massive roadside bomb that killed 14 Marines Wednesday flipped their 37-ton vehicle on its top and blew it some 40 feet down the road.

Tonight, there’s disturbing information that some of the most sophisticated of these deadly weapons are reportedly coming from Iran.

U.S. military and intelligence officials tell NBC News that American soldiers intercepted a large shipment of high explosives, smuggled into northeastern Iraq from Iran only last week.

Israel, Iran, Mossad and a Nuclear False Flag Attack

Israel, Iran, Mossad and a Nuclear False Flag Attack by R. Leland Lehrman

April 18th, 2005 - Public Advisory

New information and threats, including this commercial video (available from the Iran Freedom Foundation home page Jerome Corsi) and other neoconservative rants regarding an "Iranian" nuclear threat have prompted an essential update to this piece regarding the extensive record of recently arrested Israeli, not Iranian operatives, often around nuclear facilities in America.

This campaign designed to prepare the American people to blame Iran for a possible upcoming nuclear terrorist attack fits the description of a Mossad false flag operation, especially because of Israel’s numerous, even flagrant recent violations of American nuclear security.

Israel’s long record of using terrorism and especially "false flag" terrorism - covert military operations designed to pin blame on an enemy - is extensive and well documented, beginning with the bombing of the Hotel King David by Menachem Begin’s Irgun fighters, through the Lavon Affair and recently includes the bust up of a phony al Qaeda cell that was in reality manufactured by the Mossad.

I'm not an explosives expert, but considering what McVeigh did with fertilizer and some off the shelf parts, isn't it a stretch to believe anyone would have to call for help building a big bomb? Some even say there's recipes for this stuff on the Net.
Israel participating in bait and switch strategies?
Say it ain't so,Joe.

Iran Is Judged 10 Years From Nuclear Bomb
U.S. Intelligence Review Contrasts With Administration Statements

By Dafna Linzer

A major U.S. intelligence review has projected that Iran is about a decade away from manufacturing the key ingredient for a nuclear weapon, roughly doubling the previous estimate of five years, according to government sources with firsthand knowledge of the new analysis.

Such a story tends to soften the US' posture towards Iran.

I can't see how Iran would want to risk being caught sending high-explosives in this kind of delicate political environment. The best thing to do would be to stay completely out of the Iraq conflict at all costs. Of course, the Shia are the predominant ethnic group in both Iraq and Iran and the borders are notoriously open; private groups not sanctioned by the Iran government could send explosives to Iraqi insurgents. But the primary insurgent group in Iraq are the Sunni, not the Shia. So, on balance, it seems stupid of Iran (it's people or it's govt.) to provide weapons of any kind to Iraqi insurgents.

I wish I could find the article I read recently about the attacks on American convoys in the last week or so which required inside knowledge of schedules, routes and personnel. The author speculated that Israel could have done them, would have reason to perpetrate attacks on Americans in order to further inflame the situation. Blaming the Iranians for shipments of high-explosive would fit into this specualtion well. The Israelis seem awfully anxious to goad the US into striking Iran.

It's speculation but I wouldn't be surprised.

This whole thing all along has been Israel, Israel either did the 911 attacks themselves or trained and groomed the Saudi attackers through intermediaries. The Israelis knew 911 was going to happen and told their people to not come to work that day. The Israelis knew the London bombing were going to happen and when, of course none of their people have to ride the tube, it was just a bunch of worthless goyim that died.

The US is going to have to get a real ass-whupping before we're ready to face this as a country, although there are individuals in the US who know the score. Thus all the "conspiracy" sites about 911, pointing out that the Israelis are behind it.

Meanwhile, we have Kunstler urging us to wipe out the whole region, anything, anything at all for Israel. Beware neocon false prophets even if they do make some cute quips about peak oil.

I think that Kunstler is more like a tribalist figure who doesn't like anyone besides his neighbors in upstate NY, and he isn't so sure about them either. He would probably be happy to kill everyone in Tennessee if there was oil there.

Who's Behind the Coming War With Iran?
by Scott Horton

Aug. 5, 2005

http://www.antiwar.com/orig/horton.php?articleid=6888

[excerpt]
"...Also, once again, there is a convergence of interests between those who plan long-term energy strategy and those whose primary objective is protecting Israel. Unfortunately, the Likud First wings of the Republican party think it's the burden of Americans to confront Iran over their funding of Hezbollah, even though Hezbollah has never attacked America. Giraldi notes that the neoconservatives have made no secret of the fact that Iran is next on the hit list, and that they want a full-scale clash of civilizations. An unprovoked nuclear attack on Iran by the U.S., or by Israel itself, as Dick Cheney suggested on Inauguration Day, is a sure way to guarantee one.

Let us not forget how cooperative the Israelis were in creating excuses for invading Iraq. ..."
