If you're referring to my post, it was a feeble attempt at humor. Perhaps I should have
affixed a smiley face?
Seriously though, this is not the first study to link
moderate drinking with improved cognition.
The reasons for this remain unclear - whether it be somewhat improved circulation,
better brain 'drainage'... I don't know. But there have been several studies that
I'm aware of that have come to same conclusion.
I'm also assuming this 'improved brain function' manifests
after the effects
of the alcohol wear off. I doubt the cognitive tests were administered while the subjects
were intoxicated.
