A gigantic donwload ( he warned everyone) and yet I didn't have the patience to study how to operate the software.

Then comes Google with a "no-brainer version", fast download and the all so cool option to "tilt" the grapics which allows a birds eye view to become a pilots view. Check it out for yourself. Extremely cool that is...
GoogleEarth

It won't allow you to get super clear images in many places of Europe and who knows where ever else though. Then again, my expectations might be too high and there Aarons NASA link might kick in as the real version..

You must turn on boundaries to see country lines

I was more thinking of the quality of the image when zooming. You cant see your own house in the NASA program like in the Google Earth program can you?

I don't know so much about the NASA program, maybe it serves as another purpose than the google program?

Be sure to allow the images time to load...

Some areas don't get as close resolution as others.

Try running one of the scripts for an example of why this is cool.

Also check out the global temp observations, and the various SAT views...

Turn on Landmarks... pretty cool

Download some different scripts for other neat stuff
