as a side issue there is Turk stream , called "Balkan stream" for the ethnic bigots
it will supply Russian gas from the Turkish route to the Balkans and Austria
everything is ready except the Bulgarian leg
Oh surprise , the government of Bulgaria got some flak while the congress got told to consider sanctions
https://www.thenational.ae/business/us- ... -1.1049747The Bulgarian regime is an utter joke. It cuts off its nose to spite its face all the time. They shut down a viable four unit nuclear plant and cancelled expansion to six units. Now they have high electricity prices. Meanwhile, Ukraine with all of its problems bothers to keep its nuclear plants going and has much cheaper electricity prices. I have seen some coverage where Bulgaria will no longer serve as the transit country for Turkstream.
I think EU-peons will only wake up from their propaganda induced stupor once their gas bills start to increase. But by then it will be too late. Like Obummer, the current president of the USA and his advisors are under the delusion that Russia is desperate to export its gas to the EU. In the real world, it is starting to build a second massive gas pipeline project to China and its far east LNG export facilities. After 2025 Russia will be able to throw its gas exports east and EU can flail in the wind.
Few in the EU realize the absurdity of a country with no gas export capacity trying to dictate to them who they can get their gas from. If they submit to Uncle Scumbag, they will be importing gas from Qatar and not the USA. They will also be importing Russian LNG. LOL.
