Sounds so "official", but it is actually two bands performing Sat night, 9pm at The Independent.

The goal is to have FUN and to raise awareness and collect funds for the Clean Fuel Caravan Coalition, a Bay Area alternative fuel collective providing education about and access to vehicles running on sustainable fuels like biodiesel and vegetable oil.

I saw one of the bands, Bat Makumba, at the SF Carnaval in May and loved them. Even if you think you are a "non-dancer", their drums will likely draw you in...or the crowd will

Anyone from the Bay area want to meet up? Maybe grab a bite to eat beforehand and have chat? Because once the show starts, talk will likely be impossible Car pool from the south bay or east bay can be arranged

If you have a bike you can hop on the cal train and go up into the city, not sure how far to ride to the concert but the city's not that huge.....
