I have a very hard time to see hatred as "rational", nor love for that matter. They are human emotions that, almost by definition, defy reason. Unmitigated they are descriptors of extreme emotional states. If that does not make sense then you need to chat with some more folks outside your immediate cohort to gain a more balanced perspective.
