$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('StarvingLion', 'T')he luxury "science" journals called 'Nature' and 'Science' are laughable comic books based on the Pseudoscience of useless Windmills powering industrial scale synthetic chemical complexity.
Its grand fraud courtesy of the psycho ward called the ivory towers of finance.
The Mental Cases in the Texas Oil Industry are so brain damaged from fake money that they cannot even see that useless shit called Wind Mills as useless shit. These retards are convinced this monstrosity can actually be maintained with something that was only possible in 5000 B.C when the population was something like 5 million instead of 8 billion today.
The ancient Egyptians were the first people known to harness wind energy, using it to power boats up and down the Nile River as long ago as 5000 B.C. In ancient Persia, windmills were used to grind harvested grain and pump water through early plumbing systems.
You are right. Many so-called "scientific" news publications spew out pseudoscientific nonsense mainly because the writers are funded by big corporations that don't want the masses to understand and realize that the collapse of industrial civilization is inevitable.
These so-called high priests of science, aka "scientists", are trying to fool the masses (the general public) into believing that their unsustainable, luxurious industrial life styles of mass consumerism can be sustained on alternative energies like photovoltaic/wind energy, nuclear fusion, zero-point energy and biofuels, when in fact no combination of alternative energies to fossil fuels can sustain the modern industrial life style of these pampered and spoiled life styles.
Plus, mainstream media tries to hide or ignore the global climate change problem caused by the ubiquitous usage of fossil fuels around the world.
Publications like "Nature" and "Science" just expouse the mainstream media's propoganda in order to keep business as usual going. That is...they want the general public to keep on mindlessly consuming useless products and services to maximize profits for big corporations.
Peak Oil.com and a handful of other websites are the only websites that publish reliable info about what is going on around the world today. Most of the Internet is full of outlandish and nonsensetical conspiracy theories masquerding as scientific facts.
All I can say is make the most out of everyday because every day in the future can be your last. Plus, it is especially important to have a positive outlook on life when you know that modern civilization doesn't have long to last.
History repeats itself. Just everytime with different characters and players.
