Because they get to tap the resources of the Russian Army, that's why.

OMG Seriously? You're losing your country, and whether PUTIN gets to sit or not catches your interest. Russian thinking never stops giving its idiocy. When you find it soothing to observe the discomfort of your enemy, when that discomfort does absolutely nothing to advance your interests; you know you have well and truly bound your mind to the Russian way of seeing the world.

Regime turd posing in front of some Grad rockets with the writing "Die beasts!"

Image

Same turd captured by the rebels. The rebels always demand to know if the POWs were involved in artillery or MLRS assaults. The POWs always deny it, including in this case.

Image

Meanwhile the western media makes a fuss only when rebels hit civilians. This has happened twice in recent weeks. Compare to daily artillery and MLRS assaults by the regime on rebel held villages, towns and cities and basically zero coverage from the western media.

You could equally take some odd piece of nuclear waste into your hand and tell it that its Russian (for whatever reason) way of being harmfully radioactive never stops giving its viciousness. The set up and consequences will be the same, almost literally. And the longer you hold it, the more pronounced the consequences are.

Nineteen critics of the regime's mobilization have been arrested.

So where is NATO and its love for "freedom" of thought, conscience, and speech?

Vapid propaganda platitudes from the Empire to assert its BS "moral authority".

Minsk agreement 2.0 translated

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') Set of Measures for the Performance of Minsk Agreements

1.Immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in certain areas of the Donetsk and the Lugansk regions of Ukraine and its strict implementation commencing at 00 h. 00 min. (Kiev), on February 15, 2015.
2.Withdrawal of all heavy weapons by both sides to equal distances in order to create a security zone...

and an opinion in this regard:

http://rocksolidpolitics.blogspot.ru/20 ... l?spref=tw

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'M')insk 2.0 Bound for Failure

Two hours ago the powers of Europe and Russia, along with Ukraine and representatives of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, signed a new "peace deal" in Minsk. Problem is...it's not new. In fact, it's a regurgitated version of the first one that failed so miserably. Here's why the first one failed and the second one will as well.

1. The war in Ukraine has been witness to war crimes enmasse.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '2'). The agreement ignores the referendums held by the people of Donetsk and Luhansk.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '3'). Ukraine retakes its border with Russia effectively leaving the people of Novorossyia trapped and separated from their "guarantor" Russia.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '4'). The provisions for decentralization of powers and "special status" for Donetsk and Luhansk are left meaningless

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '5'). Disarming of the military forces of Donetsk and Luhansk. The only real guarantor of security, safety, and defender of the will of the people of Donetsk and Luhansk.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'T')he list goes on and on. Minsk 2.0 is nothing but a shallow, "diplomatic" attempt to appease the interests of Russia and Ukraine while ignoring those central to the equation: the people of Luhansk and Donetsk.

This one I disagree with. Ukraine's border guards aren't even a speed bump to Russian intervention, if it were called for. And if Kiev started shelling D&L again, Putin would have a free hand domestically to just obliterate the Kiev army.

As I already said countless times, entities controlling D&L are no different from R&S ( Rostov and Samara), B&K (Belgorod and Kursk) or M&P ( Moscow and P-burg). It's a one man show. As it supposed to be in any proper fascist country.
