Physics vs Economics

I read a quote that I thought was worth sharing.

MIT Professor Andrew Lo: "Physics has three laws that explain 99% of the phenomena, and economics has 99 laws that explain 3% of the phenomena."

Physists are seeking a single answer to all problems. Economists are seeking an answer for each problem.

At least that is how I interpret this situation. Seems reasonable too, from what I have observed.
Since this is a very simple explanation, it is right until such time that it is refuted with other proof,
or a simpler explanation.

Physicists are just lazier.

Physicists consider laziness a virtue. I'm not kidding, ask any Physicist.
Their philosophy is "Don't work harder, work smarter". One great idea is worth more than years of tedious work.
