OT, I thought I should report that KSA claims to be pumping 10mbd:

I wonder what other analysts are saying for Saudi production. Interesting comment from the BNP man. None of this is going to be about production anyway, its going to be about Global Net Exports. As time goes on and we recognize the peak, the exporters will begin hoarding. Its typical human nature with a valuable resource. I'd submit that with Export land we are already seeing the beginnings of this.

I just noticed also that according to the Saudi's themselves demand is up! Funny how most folks believe this is NOT the case.

As far as the all time peak goes, as KSA goes so does the world. They can never come out and admit they are unable to produce more, so when they peak it'll be "Demand has dropped so we're pumping 8.5mbpd. We can still produce 12mbpd if needed. $180 dollars is the price we'll defend." The real story will be demand was crushed because of their inability to keep prices down. That's been the case since 05 me thinks.

Things like the volt are nothing but big RC cars in my opinion. I'll take myself as an example here, I'm looking for a new(er) car here in the next few months. I've looked at what used hybrids are out there, and other efficient models. However the Volt isnt even in the back of my mind. I have a 5 mile commute, so it seems like that would be perfect for me. The price is way too prohibitive.

But you also didn't say a word about the power of the exponential function, a point which Albert has been pounding home for decades now. Are you suggesting that he is incorrect in making the statement that we ignore the exponential function at our own peril?
