$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('gollum', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Cog', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('gollum', 'I')'m glad to see unions getting more militant and showing some spine.

I'll be glad when there are more deaths of union members who take people hostage.

And who will perform this killing? Those government employees (the police) you consistently profess such hatred for?

Actually I would have zero problem killing someone coming at me with a baseball bat.

Unions must not have heard of the Castle Doctrine.

O'Reilly just confirmed it. A total MSM news blackout on the Longshoreman story. He just carried
the first story I have seen in two days.

The Port of Seattle was shut down today by the same union, and that too received no coverage.

It does appear the story is being kept deliberately low key by the press. I imagine TPTB are very weary of the natives getting restless.

The ones willing to take a bullet. The rest run away.

Funny the progressives do not mention anything about respecting private property rights. A basic foundation of this country.

This mob has the right to protest all they desire but trespass is trespass and so is kidnapping. Kidnapping is one of those crimes where the use of deadly force to prevent it is allowed by almost every jurisdiction that I'm aware of.

The FBI should be brought in since there was a federal injunction against the Longshoremen and the leaders of this mob should be tossed in the clink along with all the rest of the criminals that can be identified.

Cog, the Castle Doctrine refers only to a residence, and only in some states, and your response must be appropriate to the threat. Shoot a man with a knife and you probably will go to trial. If you kill
a union goon in a grain terminal, you better be a cop on duty.

You think when it comes down to it they won't bring guns too, I'd like to buy a life insurance policy for you.... my treat! As for the mob going to jail, I wonder if in such a union strong community any jury would convict?

Ah so now you want gun violence on the part of the union goons but no right to self defense for anyone protecting their life or property.

It is a very strange world you live in.

I believe you were the one wanting union members dead stated you were willing to use a gun to do so, do you really think that living in the worlds most armed society that was a good idea? You think union members don't own any guns and won't respond in kind when you shoot them? I just love the hyprocricy of the right.

The leftists are determined to screw the US economy up even more.

Shutting down the port of Seattle will put people out of work who have nothing to do with the union or with the port in Longview. Farmers, truckers, factory workers, loggers---anyone who exports via the port of Seattle is now being screwed by the ILWU union. The unionists like to boast that "an injury to one is an injury to all" and now they are out to injure as many people as possible across America even though they have absolutely nothing to do with the labor issue in Longview, Wa.

I see you did your usual deflection about private property rights. Just like a good progressive should.

I have no reason to shoot them as long as they stay off my property and otherwise do not threaten me. I don't go to their houses and break in and tell them I have the right to be there. They can show me the same consideration as a business owner.

Somehow you feel entitled to shoot people for dumping some grain? Even if you kill several of them and somehow escape good luck finding a sympathetic jury.

In a court of law that will have little to do with it, should you decide to play out your zombie fantasy I'd like to but some sort of credit default swap that will do well if you go to prison.

The longshoremen have been the most militant union on the West Coast for decades, at least since the Wobblies were gutted by the fedgov way back when. Good to see them back in action, hopefully other unions will follow suit, what few of them are left.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Cog', 'p')uffed up blustering nonsense

Oh, internet tough guy. I'm guessing in real life you'd piss your panties and cower into a fetal position if 50 longshoreman came at you. But keep talking big, dude, maybe you'll impress someone eventually.

I'm not the one encouraging violence and kidnapping on other people's private property. Who is really blustering?

But I expect nothing else from the mooch class when their freebies are threatened by people that actually make America productive. Unions are going the way of the Dodo bird and good riddance to bad rubbish.

A little right to work laws on a federal level would be good for them. Competition for jobs always brings out the best among the workers.

After joining one of my first jobs I had, when i was 14 years old, I discovered was a "union" operation. I stated my preference not to join the union, and received a verbal thrashing from the adult employees who demanded I pay their union dues. That was my first and last experience with unions. I never figured out why adults were doing a job 14 year-olds could do.

Without a union, your wage would have been lower. Would you have rather made a lower wage and the owner make more profit? Do you value your labor so little?

Obama and the Dems should have passed card check, as they promised. Anyone getting a job in any of the 50 states -- yes you too Texas -- should get a form when first hired asking if they want a union. Every six months, there should be a vote on a union in every workplace in America.

It's time for the lower 80% to stand up for themselves -- nobody else will.

I'm hoping that that the unions will actually engage in a lot of this sort of violence before the 2012 elections. Every time they do, the margin of victory for the conservatives and tea party members gets larger.
