Nothing wrong with a bit of fantasy. Real life can be drab. The anticipation intense. Maybe peak oil will just be a drab gradual decline. Nothing wrong with fantasies of mortal struggle and fearsome change. Long as your fantasies don't interfere with needed preparations.
