$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pedalling_faster', 'i') would say you're doing really well.

can you tell us some about the water supply ? annual precipitation ?

i remember switzerland as being beautiful and green (in the summer) with beautiful coins (i was a coin collector).

There is a lot of water. About 600-800mm/year (24 inches) if I remember right. I can dig 28 meters (guessed 85 foot) and am at Water level or take a cart and go to the river. But I do not want to know what happens when the waste water cleaning facilities no longer work. Rainwater is an option.

what kind of engineer ? sorry if you said & i missed it. there's a lot of investment capital for renewable energy, in Europe and the US.

do you guys get paid extra if you work overtime ?

I'm an electronics engineer mostly programming. Unfortunately not eletric. I regret this decisision today. That electronic stuff was fancy once.....

Extra pay? It depends whether the area you work in has "collective bargaining agreement" or you have a good boss. In my job I have a good wage and it is expected to work more. Because programming and electronics are fancy stuff and I am (ähh should be) fascinated from it (and all my co-workers of course).

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('coyote', '
')I once had a Swiss girlfriend, she insisted that Switzerland was safe in WWII because of its neutrality. I'll never forget her face when I showed her a map from the Encyclopedia Britannica -- a map of Hitler's plan for Europe. Switzerland, of course, didn't exist...

Hitler:
"Die Schweiz dieses Stachelschwein,
nehmen wir zuletzt noch ein."

means: "The swiss this porcupine, we capture at last."

We were luky...uhm...useful as a free coutry.
