Kunstler has been putting up monthly eyesores accross America since 1998. If you go through all of them you get this notion that America is ugliest country in the world. I think I need some happy pills.

I'd hate to know the fuel bill for one of those! 8O

Well I've been doing a little bit of searching.

The car is a mercedes-benz SLK class. I can't tell which model specifically. If you go with the bare bones 280 gets you 228 hp 221 ft/lbs of torque and is good for about 18 mpg city 24 highway. All for about $45,000.

Step up to the slk 350 and you get 268 hp 258 ft/lbs 17 city 23 highway and it's $50,000.

Step up to the slk55 AMG and you get 355 hp 376 ft/lbs and fuel mileage is To be announced which lets you know that it's good. All for the bargain price of $64,000

Now the motorhome is more difficult to identify. A little googling and it turns out that you're looking at a Volkner Mobile "Performance". For a company that builds very highend vehicles you would think they could afford a web programmer or two.

Here's some inside pictures incase you just have to have one.

I can't find any fuel usage numbers for any of their models on that page. They do have a model that carries a smart car in the back however.

What I can not imagine is why someone who could afford that monstrosity on wheels would want to drive across america parked at Walmart and the Cozy Acres RV Park.
