$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Newfie', 'P')erhaps. But....think of this.....where do they sell all that stuff they are making overseas? At home largely. They can't sell it if they don't have consumers. To be consumers you need money, a job.

Jobs are increasingly in the " service sector" which are, by and large, make work either through inefficiency of the corporate model, or the government model.

Think about it, do you know anyone with job in the primary sector?

How many do you know with service sector jobs?

I work in the primary sector.

But yes, most work in the service industry. Globalism plays a role, but automation plays a larger role. The primary and manufacturing sectors are still strong in the US in terms of output, but automation has done away with most of the jobs. Efficiency, efficiency, efficiency.

I'd venture to guess that lack of economic opportunity for the working class is at the core of our cultural decline. This is particularly pronounced for African Americans, though they have their own cultural dysfunctions independent of "white racism" and lack of economic opportunity.

It's really funny when guys like noob have to actually call the police for help.

It is a very shitty job. They have to deal day in and day out with the lowest of the low and in the States those guys are most likely packing firepower. If they could put one in the head of a cop and get away, many would.

I live in a small rural valley on Vancouver Island. We have a detachment of 3 rcmp, mostly because the highway has so many idiots driving and hell bent on dying. However, when they have to deal with locals it is usually for impaired, domestic violence, and really low life crap. They don't make friends with too many locals because they might have to arrest them one day. Sometimes they retire here, but they do need to remain apart and somewhat distanced when still working. They always wave...always, and stop for a bullshit but that is as far as it can ever go.

You couldn't pay me enough to do their job. If you want to get along with the 'cops' and not get hassled or worse, try smiling, being polite, etc. Pointing a toy gun, spitting, swearing, doesn't usually work too well in any situation. Parents usually teach this to their children. Of course it is harder to get a drivers license than it is to get knocked up or knock someone up, isn't it? let's see, kids having kids, become unemployable parents with no jobs raising kids in homes without structure or hope. Yeah, that'll work well in any society.

Unlike most Americans, I am a MAN. I do not need some other male to keep me safe.

Americans are like children who run to the adults (COPS) to keep them safe.

I have never, in my life, ever called a cop to keep me safe AND NEVER WILL.

What self-respecting man needs a cop to keep him safe?

That is a punk, which is what the American degenerate is. Americans are a nation full of punks who want someone else to fight their battles.

Real men do not need to beat their chest and brag about their guns and their willingness to use them to prove their masculinity. I would argue that more bloodshed comes from shoot-first-ask-questions-later mindsets like yours than any amount of police violence, at least in the US.

I am not some American idiot who thinks their guns will keep them safe.

Facts, evidence, and history show that is the thinking of an idiot.

I have never owned a gun in my life and do not need one for my safety.

Unlike the typical, hysterical American who sees danger under every single rock and behind every single tree, I am actually in touch with reality.

Guns put you in MORE danger, not less. I wonder why that is so hard for the American idiot to understand? Oh, that's right, Americans are idiots.

I'm having a hard time following what you do support. You think you are a "real man" which sounds very gun-nuttish and then you say you don't own a gun and Americans are idiots. So I take it you're like NEO and you can outmaneuver a bullet in slow-motion? I doubt you are getting by with your negotiating skills if you are so quick to name-call groups of people.
