Here's a link to a fairly believable site as far as conspiracy theory goes. Haha. Can't seem to find much information on the net about Kerrick's LTC method. Too simple and easy to be true?
I know a lot of you have had to stumble across this at one time or another- maybe even worked with it at one point. If it's just mythology I'd sure like to know. May help ease the shock of the wells going dry.

Very interesting!

I'm not a big fan of releasing more huge quantities of carbon into the atmosphere, but this certainly could be a big help in keeping the PO monster at bay!

This process has been used in the past to generate municipal gas. Waste coal (coal dust, grains, etc) were doused with water and shoveled into a pressure cooker. Out came hydrogen gas, carbon monoxide and "coke" which was sold into the steel industry. The gas was piped around town and used for lighting, heating and cooking. It was a dangerous mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide.

This process has been used by South Africa and by the Nazis before that.
