$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')here you stand I once stood, as I lie you shall lay!"
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Alfred Tennyson', 'W')e are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

you may find out if there is, but you certainly won't if there isn't. "ok, now I'm in the Great Beyond, and I'm not here, there's nothing here. Dang, so that's all there was for me. oh well."

I was about to be a smart arse and point out that you want an accent aigu in precis but the site appears to parse posts and disallow any johnny-foreigner characters. Bolleaux.

yes, I once had to rewrite quite a long post 5 times before i figured out that was the problem. (having the habit of putting an accent grave in cliche)

It may be worth asking Aaron to get the error message changed from:

Not Acceptable

An appropriate representation of the requested resource /gate.html could not be found on this server.

to something a bit more useful, such as "You post contains one or more invalid characters, only English characters are allowed" or something similar.

Or alternatively, he could expand the allowed character set for us [s]hackers[/s] err smartarses :lol:

I never got the unacceptable message....just "no post format specified" or something along those lines. Anyway, it might be good for Shanny or Aaron to look at this yes.

last words.....

I'm off to town for a good night out! ; )

Actually this a community software and I do know that a mod exist to fix this problem. All he would have to do is download it from phpbb and upload it to the server. Not like there was whole lot of customization put into this, so I doubt he is going to have to worry about writing something over.

BTW, my final words will most likely be Et tu, ?

Heh heh, the French etc. character set isn't a problem, it's allowing the dreaded single-quotes & pipes in that allows [s]us[/s] hackers to really get to work (grin). I reckon Aaron is probably only URL-encoding them but I won't say any more 'cos I'm really a nice person & well-disposed towards this web-site...
