$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('AlexdeLarge', 'S')omebody cable Rocc and tell him he can come out of the bunker and keep his teeth.

KD is now more optimistic.

Genesis Plan Workable

I wonder if Karl knows he scared Rocc into his cave? He posted at the Market Ticket fairly often.

Interesting, but Denninger made some fundemental errors lately.

I never venture into the TF, but posters here keep starting threads on those TF posts.

Denninger seems to have misinterpreted the Fed balance sheet, and wrongly thought that the Fed had no treasury bills left - so it would shut down some kinds of lending.

Also he seems to have overlooked the Fed launched a new commercial paper bailout program, so credit won't dry up.

There will be no banking holiday next week - except on Columbus Day of course. It's safe to come out of the bunker until the real dollar collapse starts, which I don't envision happening in 2008.

But this is enough eulogies for one person, whether he comes back or not.
It's already over, now it's just a matter of adjusting.

I like the Genesis Plan, and it sounds like something that would work. I think that there's very little chance that it will be enacted.

It sounds like a return to fractional reserve banking. That's something that would make most people feel some confidence in the banking system.

The problem is that there is so much crap in the system, and so many crazy bets that those who run it don't want to return to anything that makes sense.

They would rather run the whole thing into the ground.

You know he is just sitting and reading all these post about his so called fairwell. [ under a new name ]

If it is true that he has gone in to some under ground than he is a fool,, there is no riots going on,, pleanty of gas to go around,, money is still in the banks,, pleanty of food in the stores,, sun is still shining,, we are not at war with Russia yet,, etc,, etc.

Besides is not the internet and this forum a good tool to use even if one was in a bunker ???

I'm not sure how many of you have thought that the real reason that Rocc left is simply that P.O. dot com no longer meets his needs. Remember there was a time before this forum and there will be a time after. Life is like that. I began my internet "career" on a forum called The Fourth Turning years ago after reading a book titled, strangely enough The Fourth Turning. The book changed my life and made me think about history in a new way. From that I began questioning the things around me. One of the posters on that forum was always mentioning a phenomenon called "Peak Oil". Eventually, I was curious enough to look it up. I googled the words peak oil and the rest is, as they say, history.

I like to say that the first web site that I visited was Savinar's but it's not true. It was Wolf at the Door in England. Savinar was second though and he got my attention. I visited this place as soon as it opened for business back in 2004. I lurked for a few months then joined what was then a small but growing family. And even though I have mostly maintained my wallflower status, be assured that many of you I definately consider family. I have laughed and cried and been angry and astonished along with you all for over four years now. I have often wondered what I would do if the internet went down and I was no longer able to check in with what i believe is the premier location for stimulation and awareness on the web. This meeting place fulfills what to many must be a legitimate need for realness and sanity in a world gone mad. It has been so for me.

When you consider what this family means to each other, it comes as bit of a surprise to me that so many of you are saying goodbye to one of your own. In ones and twos, then in small groups what Roccman has done is what we all must do sometime. We are not saying goodbye but "see you on the other side." It's what we have anticipated and planned for.

This is prelude to what I actually came back here to say. Like Richard I have decided to move on. I decided this a couple of weeks ago. But it has been hard to cut the cord. I know that this probably doesn't mean much to most of you because my presence here over the years has not been exactly imposing like guys like Roccman or golem (raphael). But, believe me it is like leaving behind a bunch of brothers and sisters. And, no, I am not bunkering up. I am simply getting on with it. It is time. That is what I believe Rocc decided too. I also believe that more of us in the coming days will make the same decision.

Face it. If you have been paying attention at all, you know what you have to do. Some of the threads in the preparation forum have been going continuously for years. You have followed the trajectory of graphs for long enough that there can be few real surprises left. That is not to say that Aaron needs to fold his tent. I realize that new faces show up with great regularity and they need exactly what this site provides. I also know that some of you have taken it as your duty to be responsible for these fledgling POers. There can be no higher calling. I salute you. As for me, I have neither the time nor patience for such a task.

So... I was just going to back out the door. But Roccman's very public exit prompted me to make my own a statement on the record, so to speak. And to give me a chance to express in my own stumbling way my gratitude and affection for the best and brightest group of stark-raving lunatics on the planet. Give yourselves a standing ovation for your steadfast and unwavering search for truth. May your personal challenges be small enough to bear in the coming years, for challenges there will be in abundance.

See you on the other side.

Look you guys, this is totally planned.
No one gives cheap loans for 8 years and then drops interest rates unless they want a dollar storm.

nothing is going out of control yet.

It will just look like it so that some will start a mini civil war (nutcases) and they can clamp down marshal law.

there are 911 fomenters whipping up a movement against it, but people are so lazy they don't want to even go to a meeting at night, their development of the brainless sheep worked too well.

so, they made a faux movement (911) who go around in groups of two with bullhorns trying to whip up dissent. and that didnt work
so they will just get a few hundrds spec op guys to start a revolution/ put it down and clamp down M law.

they havent lost control of anything
when they pass laws that KILL YOU IF YOU DO NOT JOIN THEM, well, that is the time to run for the hills.

This iwill happen on THEIR schedule in 3.5 years.

How do we know?
It's in their daily planner.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pedalling_faster', 'P')eak Oil may turn out to be like Hotel California. "you can check out anytime you want, but you can never leave"

Actually you can leave and not even check out. This is knowledge they don't want you to know. You can check out, survive and become totally immune and they can't touch you.

Go to forbiddenknowledge.com go to hard facts and secret societies, there is a way out and many have taken it.

PO tends to be filled with over-reacting fear driven ppl.

What this site lacks is the realization and willingness to perceive the spiritual changes coming to mankind soon.

After Golem was banned, PO's meaning for me has diminished greatly.

Then link works just fine.

the link with THE in front is a red herring used and developed just like what happened above
you will have some servers totally ignor the first link you have to go via another server to get at it sometimes this link is NOT APPRECIATED by the upper echelon.

if it does not work on the click just type it in yourself

explorer wont let you hit it by the way you have to have netscape or another vbrowser to hit it.

www.forbiddenknowledge.com with no the

the the is a site that is a red herring is silly and has nothing truthful or useful on it./

going to the local library works.

:( Who's going to remind me that I'll be dead by 2010 for not stockpiling food & arms? :(

How am I supposed to know when the next Y2K, Oct 2007 stock market crash, time to buy gold, 300 dollar per barrel oil will be? :(

Guess he got bored of being a prophet of doom with the sense of timing of a broken wristwatch. Hopefully, he's moved on to enjoying real life, family, friends & not masturbating to his own doomer porn all the time.

Was nice talking to you that one time Rocc, don't take life so seriously. We'll all die soon enough, you too. Be patient, enjoy the flow.

Best,
Narz

P.S. : Don't be ashamed to come back again, from my experience on forums, at least 75% of those who "leave forever" are back for more within a year.

He was pretty weird but I never noticed if he violated the COC. Did he? Hopefully he wasn't banned just for being weird. Sure the 'ewe' thing and the 'wanker' thing were annoying, but sometimes his wordplay was charming.

Yeah. We just like to capriciously ban people for being weird. You're next BTW.

Meanwhile in the real world, Golem violated the COC MANY times. He was given a huge amount of latitude. You generally will not be aware when someone violates the COC, because the first step in that process is that the offending post gets moved to a special forum that's only visible to moderators. Golem said some incredibly offensive things, and as you might guess, he was completely unwilling to be directed by the site staff when problems arose.

Hey Buz if you are still listening stop in an see us next time you're up this way.

Man I can relate to taking a break from PO.com, I've done it several times. Each time I got a little better perspective.

Posting too much at PO.com is like standing in a forest with your nose buried in a sugar pine - the more you stare the less perspective you get.

I won't miss Roc's panicky posts too much, we have enough people yelling fire as it is.

I've been called worse by better, but nonetheless, I do wish him good luck.
