$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('theluckycountry', 'I') see FSD is going subscription, it won't effect the existing owners, those who paid $8000 up front for the privilege of being spied on and nagged for their entire drive. Elon needs income if he hopes to get his one trillion bonus.
What does $8k buy you?
2015 BMW X1 xDrive35i AWD
71,774 mi, List price $7,995

Mind you, that car will have a few issues cropping up now, it's 11 years old! But at 11 years a Battcar will be a lawn ornament unless it's been lightly driven. lipo batteries don't last forever and at 11 years they are well past their use-by date. Just ask the troll, his old leaf's won't get him across town and back without a recharge

That technology is obsolete and will soon disappear except for hobbyists. If we were living in 1910 you would be advising me to sell my Model T and buy a horse.
I am very comfortable with my FSD subscription and I hope it helps Musk meet one of his goals towards his Trillion Dollar payout, especially since I own TSLA stock. The ROI for FSD is good now, and will only improve overtime. Musk did not propose this deal to get a Trillion Dollars, he did it to maintain control of the company.
