$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('AdamB', 'I') probably should get a safe deposit box, but nobody knows it is here except the wife

With the little you have it's not worth the effort, just poke it into the bag of an old vacuum cleaner, no one will look there.

I love the internet  people who have never followed or commented on owning an asset class all of sudden start to pop out of the woodwork and claim to be hodlers when the price goes way up.
On another note, I was digging through an old hard drive the other day and found a folder named BTC. Inside was the seed and passphrase for 100 bitcoin I was given back in 2011 for mowing a neighbors lawn and forgot about. They were worth about 40 cents each as I recall, I've verified them, left them on the HDD with the other junk for now.

If you really have 100 BTC it would be worth 9.6 million US dollars and I would congratulate you and advise you to move out of the country ASAP. It can be easily verified by posting your public key, NOT YOUR SEED PHRASE (or I will steal them in a heartbeat).

I see FSD is going subscription, it won't effect the existing owners, those who paid $8000 up front for the privilege of being spied on and nagged for their entire drive. Elon needs income if he hopes to get his one trillion bonus.

What does $8k buy you?

2015 BMW X1 xDrive35i AWD

Mind you, that car will have a few issues cropping up now, it's 11 years old! But at 11 years a Battcar will be a lawn ornament unless it's been lightly driven. lipo batteries don't last forever and at 11 years they are well past their use-by date. Just ask the troll, his old leaf's won't get him across town and back without a recharge

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('jack1212', 'E')nergy efficiency is crucial for sustainability, but gains become harder after initial improvements (the "low-hanging fruit"). Advanced tech (IoT, data analytics) and lifestyle changes are key to further progress. It's about more than cost savings—it's about a resilient, sustainable future.

Buy a home on the same circuit as a hospital and you'll be fine. Even in all the countries that have regular load shedding now the hospitals have priority. It's amazing how many nations are actually going dark for 3 and 4 and 12 hours a day now. That was one prediction made by the old PeakOilers, a doom and gloom event for sure. Living without reliable refrigeration and airconditioning must Suck!

That technology is obsolete and will soon disappear except for hobbyists. If we were living in 1910 you would be advising me to sell my Model T and buy a horse. :-D

I am very comfortable with my FSD subscription and I hope it helps Musk meet one of his goals towards his Trillion Dollar payout, especially since I own TSLA stock. The ROI for FSD is good now, and will only improve overtime. Musk did not propose this deal to get a Trillion Dollars, he did it to maintain control of the company.

lol, LOL. Really inke, you gotta lay off the drugs. Battcars haven't even made 1% of cars on the road globally.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A')s of 2024/early 2025, electric vehicles (EVs) make up about 1.4% of all cars on U.S. roads, with roughly 4 million EVs out of 292.3 million total vehicles

And that's the US, where the most people bought into it. But the rest of the world, all of the poor in China, India, Africa, South America, RUSSIA! You're just living in a bubble of delusion. Turn off the TV set mate.

Here's where the sales are, Gasoline halfbreeds.

Global Plug-In Car Sales Passed 20 Million In 2025 As U.S. Lost Steam
North America was the only major global region where EVs and PHEVs saw sales decline in 2025

https://insideevs.com/news/784417/globa ... ales-2025/

And that 20 million doesn't even include the non-plugin halfbreeds where the real growth was. Fake EVs all of them.
