If many fields go in decline at the same time then the global decline would be far more then 2 or 3% a year. And it looks like most contry's will decline at the same decade. So what would the say for 9 to 10 %???
Well Enquest, interesting question. The futre however has spoken, and future decline rates turned out to be temporary as, with occasional peak oils since you asked your question, the world has peaked...and then peaked, and then peaked some more.
And once peakers were discredited by the first couple of comings and goings...well....the global peak that happened in 2018? No one even noticed. And recently there is talk of yet ANOTHER global peak.
i.e. No clues on overall decline yet, these decades later.
