DNO chief executive Helge Eide said Friday that it was too early to estimate the size of the company’s oil find in northern Iraq. He said he thus was sticking to estimates before drilling began in the Kurdish area.
Those estimates called for as much as 1 billion barrels of oil for DNO. “But we’ve drilled so little that it is hard to say how much it might be,” Eide told news bureau Reuters. “We have to drill more first.”
