Natural gas bills are set to go up in 2006

Enbridge Gas Distribution has received approval from the Ontario Energy Board to raise prices for natural gas, meaning consumers in the province will see on average a $257 increase in their bills for the commodity in 2006.

The company said effective Jan. 1, it is raising its gas supply and delivery charges and will institute a new gas cost adjustment refund.
