LOL: The usual fast crash doomer, wrong decade after decade, bleating the same story. Pretending neither technology or adaptation can possibly matter.

Just as wrong as the criticism of the optimists.

But meanwhile, whether in 5 years or 30 years, green energy and electrified vehicles (including many planes) WILL reduce the global demand for crude oil, even as the expanding demand from the third world will raise it.

But let’s not pretend like having to have a little less stuff we like is the same problem as, say, the speed and ferocity of the oil crisis of the 70’s from OPEC (which I lived through as a teen-ager).

Both the cornies and the constant oil doom brayers are wrong, as each unfolding decade keeps showing.
