December 14, 2005 San Francisco, CA, USA: California Proposes $2.8bn Solar Energy Funding Program. In an Interim Order issued yesterday, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) is proposing to adopt a program, called the “California Solar Initiative”, CSI to provide up to $2.8 billion in incentives for solar projects of all types and sizes.
