China, Japan sign trade pact; oil supplies dropped – report

China and Japan signed a long term trade agreement without any commitment by Beijing to supply oil, the official Shanghai Securities reported.

The agreement, signed earlier this week, covers trade for 2006 to 2010, the newspaper said.
