As the Dakota Access Pipeline reaches the Missouri river Warriors and Water Protectors built a bridge so that they can block construction on the other side of the river. Cops attacked the people with rubber bullets and pepper spray but warriors bravely fought back and lived to fight another day.

What they need are prison guards. Police are stupid to use rubber bullets, water and pepper spray.

Boat sounds like you are getting up set. OMG the
progresscancer is being slowed! White men like boat don’t care if those natives have been on that land for thousands of years. We need more cancer and as fast as fast can….more more more. Like fucking rats. It wasn’t enough to genocide 90% of those people who had been in the “new world” for 15,000 years. Pushed them all onto little prison plots of land over a century ago and now that we are nearing the end of industrial wonder land anything goes to keep it going. Beat people, lock them up, intimidate them, infringe on constitutional rights (reporter) A fucking one track mind. See you are just another mindless cancer monkey boat. A two legged malignant tumor on the planet. Funny considering how you snivel and moan about illegals so much- guess what to those people your white ass is the original illegal.Gee boat, I just can’t understand why they don’t want that pipeline near their kids drinking water?

Colonial Pipeline spill confirms worries of Standing Rock Sioux water protectors
“What has been conspicuously absent in local papers and other mainstream news outlets is the damage being done to the environment. At first report 1,000 gallons of gasoline had been “spilled”, then 250,000 gallons and now 336,000 gallons according to latest estimates. Considering the integrity or lack thereof of such estimates, who knows for sure the amount of gas spilled?”

Hey, I know the solution…all the PTB need to do is propose either to frack or develop some other resource on their land…
Keep the natives distracted while we take care of business.

AKA your owners. The cancer, like all cancers, only has one purpose – to infect and consume as much healthy tissue as it can until it is all gone. The humans, for all their arrogance and hubris, are a one trick pony.

Industrial ag and human stupidity meets an AGW jacked hurricane.
Aerial Photos Document Massive Flooding of 36 Factory Farms
“Hurricane Matthew’s rampage through North Carolina’s coastal plain flooded more than 140 feces-strewn swine and poultry barns, more than a dozen open pits brimming with hog waste and thousands of acres of manure-saturated fields, an analysis by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and Waterkeeper Alliance reveals.
“When floodwaters reach livestock confinement barns, waste pits or waste application fields, nearby surface water becomes contaminated with animal urine and feces, which contain a number of harmful pollutants including E. coli and salmonella. In the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd in 1999, dangerous levels of E. coli and Clostridium were found in water samples even after the flooding receded.”

Ap, pig crap is especially dangerous as it can carry human diseases and pass them on. To illustrate this, my step-dad (age 92) is living because he had a bad valve in his heart replaced by a pig valve several years ago. That is how close we are.
BTW: He thanks you all for your tax money that paid for it. (Medicare)

The Doubt Machine: Documentary Explores Koch Brothers’ War on Climate Science

Ga. wildfires continue as drought reaches desert-like levels
“Forestry officials are warning that a dry spell on par with a desert is likely to continue – and possibly get worse – in the days to come.”
“With drought conditions only expected to get worse, Ranger Pat Stockett with the Georgia Forestry Commission said that the northern region of the state is maxing out the very scales they use to measure drought conditions.
“We have something called the Keetch-Byram Drought Index,” Stockett said. “It’s a scale that goes from 0 to 800 – 0 being pretty much the ocean and 800 being the Sahara Desert.”
Stockett said that north Georgia is currently in the mid to upper 700s.”

Add Trump to the war on climate science. That’s what makes him so popular @peakoil.com
Boat on Sat, 5th Nov 2016 4:35 pm
Even China scolded Trump for his views on climate change. Lol I got a kick outta that.
peakyeast on Sat, 5th Nov 2016 5:08 pm
@boat: Trump is not popular. Hillary is not popular. The US government is not popular. The FBI is not popular. The whole election circus is not popular.
Nobody wants any of it. They want something that works. That brings forth honest politicians in an honest election process and giving them an honest chance at doing their policies and not the oligarchs.
IOW: Something that the world has yet to experience.
And boat… You should have noticed this…
Everybody here on PO, but you, is dead tired of the obvious government mismanagement and mafia rule.

As Californians Fight Over Fresh Water, the San Francisco Bay Barely Survives

You have way to high expectations of humans considering our history. Why is that?
peakyeast on Sat, 5th Nov 2016 8:06 pm
@Boat: You are right. I always expect the worst from humanity. And not seldom am I to see that humanity does worse than I expected.
From the top of my head I cannot even come upon one instance where humanity as a “unit” has performed its global actions with care and intelligence. Actually – It all strikes me as truly dumb fuck psychos playing each others at other peoples expense. Their personal I.Q. is probably very high, but that doesnt seem to stop stupidity from ruling the world at their hands.
peakyeast on Sat, 5th Nov 2016 8:10 pm
@mak: I fully understand your action. And the Ps are probably a nice place right now (and in the past).
The future is just very very uncertain – for all locations.
Good luck with your choice of country !
I am still looking for a good spot. So far I am planning for the most inhospitable places. Something like a hole in a rock in the middle of a desert.

UNEP Report: Despite Paris Climate Agreement, After 24 Years Of “Negotiations” We Are Hurtling Towards A 3.5 Degree World, Which Will Be Catastrophic For Millions
“If international leaders fail to step up, UNEP warns, “we will mourn the loss of biodiversity and natural resources. We will regret the economic fallout. Most of all, we will grieve over the avoidable human tragedy; the growing numbers of climate refugees hit by hunger, poverty, illness and conflict will be a constant reminder of our failure to deliver.”
“If international leaders have not stepped up to do what is necessary to curb emissions in the last 24 years, why expect them to now? When it’s already too late? I don’t understand. Hopium is a helluva drug!” -OSJ”

Stranger things have happened recently. But then, Cali has all those liberal radicals. Good luck in your choice of location, but I would avoid deserts unless you can find a deep cave with a good water spring at the bottom ^_^

@UNEP… Surprise surprise… Of course they will fail to step up. Politicians are here to plunder the population for the aristocrats – not lead the country.
