House and Senate Bills Target Oil Consumption, Promote Fuel Efficiency and Alt F

Green Car Congress reported recently that the bipartisan groups in both the U.S. House and Senate introduced their own versions of ‘Fuel Choices for American Security’ Act. The bills are designed to reduce the consumption of oil through the promotion of fuel-efficient vehicles, including plug-in hybrids, and alternative fuels, primarily ethanol.
