Thank god, finally a really smart sales and marketing guy to teach all of those dumb scientists the facts about how oil is created by the earth just for us to (sell and) burn.

LOL. They’re reducing costs. Funny how Exxon’s cost of extraction keeps going up though.
Energy Returned on Investment has been steadily decreasing. You can say it’s not at the peak, on the other hand it’s getting more expensive to drill.
Funny thing, Exxon’s “oil” reserves are no longer just oil, if they were just oil, you’d see a pretty sharp peak.
Finally, What happened to Exxon’s CAPEX spending?
If you can’t see a peak coming you must be blind.

Always fun listening to the brain damaged.
-Right off the bat this guy isn’t privy to any corporate numbers, he’s a third party.
OMG – Empty oil wells are re-filling!
Peak OIl ‘myth” 150 years old, LOL.

OMG: Coal Oil and Natural Gas must come from GOD video.
Alex “idiot” Epstein.
Wind is now cheaper than all carbon fuels.
Get this, Wind doesn’t need you to find, drill, pump, pipe and burn in a furnace to create electricity, all of which cost money, far more money than FREE Wind. Question: What is the efficiency of the natural gas to electricity furnace? 40%, you lose 60% of the energy as heat.
Paper
Growing and radiating earth??? Wow. We’re really picking the bottom of the idiots barrel.
Sorry, I can’t listen to these two GED challenged idiots any more.

I cry for just how SUBSTANDARD the US education establishment is. These two PROVE beyond any doubt that our School Taxes are TOO LOW, and we have failed to give sufficient education to the morons of society.

Mike, I can say the same thing about your green exceptionalism. What is the difference? The education system is broken are you going to cry over spilled milk? These things are not repairable. We can’t even maintain what we have. This sad global story has only one solution and that is adjusting and mitigating to decay and descent with nothing to save the status quo. This is especially true of green tech. Green tech is better than brown but green needs brown.

Most of us went through some kind of educational system. The kids that pass today have it much tougher than we did in the k-12 US system. Most of us learn and get promoted on how we do once were in the work force.
In the US it is not education that is the problem. It’s the mentality of those at the top. Most don’t come from the bottom and have no clue as to what is needed to improve their structure. Very little follow up and little responsibility sharing.

@Mike: There is only a limited amount of wind on the planet – eventually you will have peak wind and all the disasters that are connected with it. – No more oxygen being whipped into the watermasses – no more distribution of heat and moisture. And birds will just give up on flying and start walking instead. I tell you it will be mad..
Its a little like climate change just worse…

hmm seems the title is wrong
titled: “Abiogenic Petroleum: Peak Oil and “Fossil Fuels” – Debunked”.

forbin – I’m not sure that’s even correct: before something can be debunked doesn’t it have to be “bunked” first? LOL.

I will have to practice this and see if I can get this good at talking out of my ass and moving my lips in perfect sync. I did find great truth in him being an average squirrel just trying to find a nut.

Davy, the difference is, I say sane things. Things that are backed up by fact.
Fantasy: Oil wells refilling themselves by some kind of biological method, or God.
Is this guy even on the “right”? This level of gullibility is beyond economics and politics, it’s in the realm of mental health.
But, it was a good joke.
It was a joke, right?
Davy on Fri, 4th Dec 2015 9:47 am
Mike, I am not backing the guy in reference. I am rejecting greentopian thinking that’s all.

I would say this video is a waste of time but I’ve been through worse things in wasting time. At least this video was entertaining.
Several funny topics. And even some stuff I’d agree with – such as war being a great source to kick start an economy. But the whole argument that more carbon in the atmosphere will just mean more plant life was funny to elaborate about. So, these guys are in a sense advocating another period where there’s a Great Oxidation Event. Or in the most likely event – Global Warming due that we humans destroy plant life way too fast.
peakyeast on Sat, 5th Dec 2015 3:21 pm
So Rockefeller got oil classified as a fossil fuel – in order to create an imaginary shortage of oil?
“Because there is no profits in surplus and excess capacity? Only in shortages.”
“By any measure our environsment is better than ever?”
Whew… I cant listen to it all.
It is simply too painful to watch these two morons sit and reinforce their own stupidity.

took all of a minute or two to out the so called article as a fake… I have to say it was a pretty elaborate fraud… Take a conference from 8 years ago which had the theme of “Challenging the Myths”
But the cool thing about the web is stuff stays up forever… So here’s a list of speakers from the conference… No Sean Phillips… No presentation by that name..
