Russia says to support Greece recovery by deepening energy cooperation
Russia intends to support an economic recovery in Greece by expanding cooperation in the energy sector, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said on Sunday.
Novak said in a statement sent to reporters that Russia was considering the possibility of organizing direct energy supplies to Greece and hoped to reach an agreement on this within the next few weeks.
Greece currently buys Russian gas delivered by pipeline via Ukraine and the Balkan countries as well as Russian oil, usually through tenders from the Black Sea port of Novorossiisk.

Guess who wants Greece to stay in the Euro? Every time he opens his mouth the anti Russian conspiricy theorists freak out. Especially in Brussels and Washington. Putin knows well that Greek problems are not gas related. However if they stayed in the euro, that would be one less headache.

We don’t see Washington stepping up to help Greece. At least not yet.
I believe Obama could score points in Europe by bombing Greece with USD’s. I’ve said it before, Greece, if they leave EU should adopt USD’s for six months or a year till the economy strengthens.
Forty or fifty billion in bonds purchased today might actually turn a profit in a few years.

BobInget, you assume that “O”. or his handlers, want Europe to recover and be a competitor to the US. I see all of this as a deliberate move to destroy the EU and it’s middle class. After all, that is the plan going forward for US ‘citizens’ these days.
The US Middle Class is disappearing under “e z” debt …er… credit, and more and more regulations, making it impossible to keep up. Eternal zero interest income, on top of double digit inflation, is killing the old and the thrifty. Wall Street is a disaster waiting to take away all the retirement dreams you have been stuffing into your 401ks and mutual funds for decades, That is, if the government doesn’t ‘nationalize’ them first.
I could go on, but it just beings out the ‘brainwashed patriotic flag wavers here’. You get the idea. The US does not want any country to be stronger they they are. And that level is going lower every day.

Folks, Makster is on a roll again pumping up the anti-American agenda with the same worn out news. He acts like we are too stupid to know these things. What he fails to talk about is for the most part Americans still have choices besides the very effective brainwashing. Many Asians don’t have options especially in the Makster’s beloved China. The Makster conveniently leaves those facts out and focuses on his selective facts per his hate filled agenda.

Charm,….I love what Mak has to say, you just have to read behind the lines. Like when he says double digit inflation in europe, those of us that google know that means 2.5, not 10 and above. Notice 2.5 has two digits. This is Mak math.

Charm, you need to understand the difference between a personal agendas using selective facts to paint a distorted picture and the objective truth. The Mak is among the worst on this sight with an agenda. Sure he presents facts but they are mixed facts with distortions. I rarely argue the real facts. What I argue is the presentation of facts in a distorted and embellished way. In my book that is as good as lying.
Mak is a liar in this respect. I have my weaknesses but I am obsessed with fairness and balance. If I present a negative Asian agenda it is “ONLY” in response to the asshole anti-Americans here who also promote an Asian or a Bric agenda. I am ready to discuss the failures and weaknesses of the US. The US is among the worst in most every category. I will not take the agenda lying down because most other powers are peers of the US in some way, shape or form.
Mak’s agenda is personal. It is bullshit that belongs in the gutter and not a respectable site. Mak is not respectable in this respect. The Makster belongs in the gutter. Unfortunately to fight the Makster I must go into the gutter too. So yes I am guilty as charged with the truth but it is only because I am meeting the Makster on the battlefield of Truth. That might sound goofy but I am a nutter. Get the point.
