rockman, yeah the leave it to beaver 1950’s propaganda days are long over, but feel free to compile a list for everyone of these supposed countries the US has freed. How about start with the fact that the colonies would not have won the war of independence without the French bankrupting themselves and providing their troops and navy and a bunch of other volunteer/glory seeking European military men. Did they do it for freedom or to stick it to the British for their own gain? Whatever the intent or by product of America’s part in WWII that led to throwing off the yoke of fascists can be disputed, but that does not take away the sacrifice of those who fought it, but I’m pretty sure those people are all but dead and gone and riding their coat tails is completely fucking pathetic – you played no part and made no sacrifice. I know in 21st century Texas and many parts of America you think the great wars were all about you, but millions of people from other countries died in the fight as well. For example, Canada was in both world wars well over a year before the US and so were other countries, and in each one you had to be attacked before joining the fight for freedom (Pearl harbour – Lusitania) but thanks for mopping up and saving everyone. Every time the ancestors of those dead soldiers and civilians from the allied countries (that’s what they use to call them) hear revisionist Americans like you run your mouth they see it as the graves of their ancestors being pissed on. It’s just another of many reasons your country is hated by so many now.
