It’s estimated allied bombers use about 20,000 lbs of jet fuel for each ‘airstrike’.
That totals 100 Million pounds of jet fuel
used in 5,000 air raids. (five million barrels)
Now, tell us how five thousand ‘airstrikes’ on Yemen, Iraq and Syria by ‘so called allied’ aircraft haven’t diminished Saudi crude exports.
Syria is still flying helicopters dropping barrel bombs mostly on apartment houses. As IS controls 80 percent of Syrian oil, Syrian (government) use remains inconsequential, by comparison.
Islamic States in Iraq and Syria are fighting to gain additional oil fields. If our ‘press’ makes to big a point of this fact, it might become obvious, the real point of this war is oil.
Five million barrels seemed high to me. I didn’t factor in transporting all missile and bomb fabing material . Nor did I mention transportation bombs and missiles to Saudi Arabia.
Remember for EVERY hour of flight time each F/16 requires four hours of maintenance.
That thousand dollars an hour bill, you pay.
(we can’t ask poor KSA, can we?)
If Syria falls to Syrian rebels, IS will control all of Syria. 100% of Syria’s oil.

Aleppo will fall anyway. Damascus is key if Iran is to retain its strategic allience with Hezbollah and keep its finger on the pulse of Arab politics. Russia/Iran will support an Assad rump state. Turkey must allow the creation of a PRO-NATO pro-Turkey kurdish state. Isis would vanish then and Iraq must be extinguished and new borders created by Shia/Sunni Arabs.

Here’s a BBC map detailing fighting number of airstrikes. (nearly 5,000)

Here, we have some real “barrel bombing”.
