What if it all becomes obvious enough?

Public Policy

What if Putin, being a strategic thinker that he is in addition to being a master in judo, has an intention to make not just eastern Ukraine but the whole Ukraine a failed-state-showcase of what happens when the US, Nato, EU, and the IMF causes havoc in eastern Europe. Maybe he is giving a lesson to Germany, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, etc. and especially his fellow Russians what happens when the US supports the rabid fascists in their region. He realizes that the neo-cons and the Atlanticists, being the mindless psychopathic and sociopathic killers that they are, are incapable of grasping the lessons and consequences of their actions and will press ahead uninterruptedly and fail to see the trap that is being laid in front of them. Remember that psychopaths always think that they’ll never get caught, that they’re invincible and they, until the very last moment, will always deny their doom (just ask Napoleon and Hitler). So what if Putin’s strategic advisors egged on the Kiev regime to bomb unimportant civilian locations making them think that there was concentrated partisan militia and now scattering the militia in various areas where they can take down invididual KJ troops. Could it be Putin’s motive to get the KJ bogged down in eastern Ukraine and at the same time causing increasing revulsion of the people in Russia proper.

It’s one thing for the patriotic Russian media to educate on how the US caused mayhem and failed states in Libya and Iraq. It’s quite another to show that the US is causing this same mayhem and failed state right on their border and in the process killing innocent Russians. Indeed by demonstrating the barbarity of the US and its KJ puppets, Putin may in fact be delivering a blow to the fifth columnist pro American forces in Russia. “See what your American friends are doing to our people”. To the sixth columnists that Joaquin mentioned, Putin can call their bluff and tell them “If you’re so upset at what’s happening in Donetsk, don’t get angry at me. Why don’t you start mobilizing and organizing your own people and the public to volunteer to help out the resistance. Either put up or shut up.”

The US and Nato have nothing positive and constructive to offer. All they can do is create mayhem, death and failed states. That’s all they know how to do. All they can do is blackmail, sanction and threaten states like Bulgaria into not letting a gas pipeline through their territory. Now I’m absolutely certain that the whole of eastern Europe and Germany will eventually come on the side of Russia. I have no doubt now. The truth is so obvious. If Putin had intervened right away in eastern Ukraine then this process of Europe and Russia learning about the US and Nato would have been pre-empted. Putin wants this process to continue to its conclusion. Unfortunately innocent people will die but sometimes a few have to be sacrificed so the world can learn the truth. I’m sorry but that’s how the world and politics work.

Orlov, buddy, there is an old saying “live by the sword die by the sword”. Your “motherland Russia is a spoiler just like the US. Or course less so in the last 20 years but the inclination is still strong in Russia to push their self-interests where they can. Orlov, you are becoming a hypocrite with your US thumping and Russia pumping. I do not deny the sins of the US, Nato, IMF and god knows how many other BAU degenerates that have become inbred with the lust of power and money. These folks will soon be diminished as Kunstler likes to point out relating that large complex organizations will struggle when the lights flicker. But “O”, please spare me how wonderful the current Mafia oligarch Russia leadership is. It should tell you something if your Judo master is reported to be the richest man in the world. “O”, would that not hint at embezzlement, deceit, corruption, and manipulation on a scale not seen in modern times? Wlad is a crook and Russia is his victim. Give it a rest “O”. I admire the Russian people and their fortitude but I find no flowers in the Russian leadership. These folks have what they have coming from the Ukraine failed state on their doorstep. The failed Ukrainian state issue could have been much different if over the past 30 years the Russians had cultivated a true neighbor and friend.

Orlov is correct on this one, as only anyone who lived the life can see it. The coddled Americans have no idea what the real world is like and never will as they are brainwashed 24/7/365 unless they are the very small percentage that actually lives in other parts of the world for longer than a tourist visit.

The article is a concise view of how he sees Russia without American bias or phobias. If the US is so great, why are more and more of us opting to “get out of Dodge”? The numbers have increased by 200+% over the last few years and will grow even faster until the government slams the door shut.

Putin holds all the high cards in this game and is a nuclear armed foe the West cannot push too far. Not to mention he holds the economy of the EU, and therefore the US, in his hands. With China backing him in the financial sector, he has more power then Obama or whatever puppet is running the EU these days.

OH, Mak, why are the Chinese coming over here to the US in droves with all their money and families buying up property? Mak, we are talking smart educated people unlike blokes that leave the US and move to a tird world country. Mak, it is because the smart and rich Chinese understand East Asia is in a death rattle. Good luck with your coconut rations. You could be eating steak.

What if Putin has abandoned the Russia rebels in Ukraine, first backing them but now staying silent as they are killed by the Ukrainian army and eastern Ukraine is returned to the control of Kiev.

Kudos for Orlov, every sentence a home run. Every country the west touches is turned into a pile of rubble. Kind advice to non-western countries: every time a western politician visits you to lecture you about ‘human rights’, throw him in a canal.

Interesting that Orlov assumes that eastern Europe and Germany will in the end team up with Russia.

Art, do you selectively read history. What did the Soviets and Chinese do to every country they touched? Please tell me if they were better than what America brought to the Tird World. I believe they would not be in the dustbin of history except for the fact they ruined much of what they touched including their own nest. Look at what China is doing to themselves now. China is basically practicing collective suicide with themselves industrializing to western standards. IMA China is destroying the whole world in their collective suicide. I differ on Orlov. I used to like the guy but now he is an unbalanced anti American. Look, I criticize my country such that I am probably on a NSA list somewhere but I insist on fairness. I cannot stand the likes of Mak, on this board that is on a mission to soil my country “NEVER” saying anything positive. This is what Orlov has become. He is nothing more than a Anti-American whiner anymore. He has even lost his sense of humor. I see him turning into a mad man like other collpasniks that end up getting lost in their story. It won’t be long and we will hear about Orlov with a bullet in his head from his madness.

    OMG,

Russia is the weaker side when we are talking about military and a dwarf when we are talking about economy.

Therefore, the occupation of most parts of eastern Ukraine, which was a glacis for Russia as the weaker side, would be a strategic loss, the occupation of the Krim is already.

The whole mess is damaging the Russian economy for more than the economies of the EU. The EU/USA are waging an quite clever economic LIC and a cynic like me would hope for an occupation of more parts of the Ukraine by Russia.

The NG weapon is a bluff, it would be some kind of HIC, which requires that Russia cut deep in her flesh. The economic LIC is on the propaganda front for Putin a real PITA. 🙂

In conclusion: Putin is minimizing losses on the strategic level not more. He was quite good to find some unconventional solutions for his military problems, however, his team is very likey a bunch of amteurs when it comes to economy and Russia is paying for this.

“the patriotic Russian media ” Oh, I do love that line. Of course, if you’re not “patriotic”, you don’t get to be media in Putin’s Russia, at least not for long.

  9. Keith_McClary on Wed, 9th Jul 2014 8:40 pm

redpill: So how do you explain the patriotic US corporate media?

(BTW, the article was a reader submission, not by Orlov.)

  10. Makati1 on Wed, 9th Jul 2014 8:52 pm

Redpill and Ulen, love the EU cool aid…lol.

Russia is a nuke country, and is NOT any weaker than the US. The US has no missile shield that works and they know it. Europe would be gone in minutes and the US soon after.

Russia is a major energy producer. The West are major energy consumers.

Russia is in good financial health. The West not so much.

Russia holds the EU in its hands and they are beginning to understand that fact.

Had it not been for Russia in WW2, the West would be speaking German.

    And on and on…

  11. Davy on Wed, 9th Jul 2014 9:23 pm

Mak, you Puked again. I have no time to clean up the mess but I will say the above is off the mark with balance and accuracy. It is typical of your mouthing off.

  12. Norm on Thu, 10th Jul 2014 12:31 am

I am ok with Mak. The Russians hang together well. They know how to be a common group. The US everybody a freak who want to rip you off. Pathetic over weight pot heads. Russia sticks together and that makes them stronger.

  13. Arthur on Thu, 10th Jul 2014 2:18 am

Davy, the USSR was indeed far worse than the US for sure, but you seem to ignore that the USSR is dead now for 23 years, thank God. Only people like bobinget never got over the demise of that sh*t hole.lol
Look, I am a European and as such have a little different geopolitical perspective. My civilization was overrun in 1945 by a coalition of USSR and US, aka self-styled ‘liberators’, but in reality usurpers on a looting spree. And that coalition came about because at the top, both systems were run by the same people, you know who I mean.

Davy, when it comes to social conservatism and anti-thirdwordism, I am much closer to you than to Makati, who sometimes, God forbid, even flirts with communism. I nevertheless keep a line of affinity open to Makati because he has no illussions about the true nature of the US empire and those running the system.

You are defending your country, which is fine. But from a position of ‘right or wrong, my country’ you not only defend your people, but also the political system that for hundred years now systematically works towards the demise of Europeans/people of European decent, like you and me. That does not make sense.

You point at the USSR and China. But the hated USSR is dead and I keep stressing the importance of an alliance between continental Europe, continental US and Russia, so the ‘white christian world’ can balance a rising colussus China, not to portray it as the next enemy, but to just keep it in check.

But Washington is not interested in the preservation of a white christian world, it seeks to destroy it, using the noobtubes of this world, who have nothing but genocidal intent towards us.

So if we are to have a future Davy, we need to get rid of the Rothschildt-Goldman-Sachs empire aka the west. Bring in the Jeffersons, the Lafayettes and the Stuyvesants. It is 1776 all over again.

    Cup of tea?.lol

Hi Arthur. I do sometimes flirt with communism, because it is that, or a feudal society for the next thousand years, if we get through the ecological bottleneck ahead. Democracy doesn’t work for many reasons, the US as example. Greed finds it’s way into power and there it stays, bleeding the peasants dry. Socialism cannot work in a world of shrinking resources/energy. What is left?

If you want to get along with your neighbors after the SHTF, you will form a communistic society of sharing with them, which may evolve into a larger system of sharing that may become a nation of sharing scarce resources. No other option short of a shootout with everyone outside your acre of beans until you are killed. But, then, you will not live to see such a nation evolve. None of us, living today, will.

Art, my problem is I am forced to balance Maksters excessive postings that are nothing more than cheap shots on the US in every way shape and form. I am constantly criticizing my country and the politics. It is only by exposing the corruption, manipulated social fabric, and degeneration of the US social body that will allow us to reform. Yet, you cannot tell me the US is all to blame for every worldwide social ill. This board has become a US bashing form along with the PO study. Many of the articles are even focused on US social and economic ills. It is probably because despite all the rhetoric the US has people that write about our homegrown problems where the rest of the world is concerned about writing about US problems and not their own. Maybe the rest of the world needs to look at the shit in their nest. This is a huge problem today in the world and I call it the blame game. It is another reason why the world is doomed. If we can’t get over the blame then we will never get on with changing attitudes and lifestyles. Art, if you are going to label the US an exploiter of Europe post WWII you need to look further back at who started the science of exploitation. There is no way to deny the Europeans started the whole game of exploitation. They started this first among themselves then moved on to the tird world. If Europe would have remained strong the US and USSR would never have done what you propose they did. As for the colossus China, well, they are engaged in collective suicide. And Makster, do you understand what communism is? Apparently not. It is nothing associated with a feudal society environment. Communism is associated with a modern industrial society of industrial workers. Mak, do some research and educate yourself and maybe you will quit talking out your ass.
