Finnish oil company to build mass production biofuel plant

Neste Oil Corporation, one of the largest independent oil refiners in northern Europe, has revealed plans to build an ambitious biofuel production facility on the site of its Porvoo refinery in Finland.

 

The Finnish oil company is believed to be investing E100 million into the construction of its new plant, which is slated to produce 170,000 tones of biofuel at capacity. According to its own press release, Neste Oil will be among the first producers and marketers of such a high-grade biofuel in the world.
