It’s a sacred duty we take up at the beginning of the new year. Donning our psychic caps and tuning in to the Noosphere we delve deep into what really matters in crafting our annual “In and Out” list.

And thank G-O-D that we do. Having again viewed what passes for mainstream “In and Out” lists — for example the list in the Washington Post — we can only hang our heads in shame knowing we share citizenship and cultural kinship with these poor misbegotten souls who wouldn’t know the pulse of the nation if they had a…pulsometer!

The bald fact is that commercial blips, flavors-du-jour, and tech phenoms are never really either In or Out but are more like…traffic jams; curiously annoying but gloriously temporary.

But we, we dig deep, as deep as a Fukushima meltdown. So we’re back again with the one and only Transition Voice In and Out List: 2014 Edition, with all the insight, prescience and ballsiness that you’ll need to navigate the coming year. Think of us as the kimchi to the nation’s Candida overgrowth. We’ll scratch that itch and then put it out of business with our mental microflora!

It’s the third annual Transition Voice In and Out List!
