Swaziland considers turning to green energy

Impoverished Swaziland wants to develop bio-energy from its key sugar crop to ease its dependence on imports as soaring oil prices hurt the economy, its energy minister said.

Minister of Natural Resources and Energy Mfomfo Nkambule said earlier this week he was concerned about the toll high global oil prices were taking on the local economy and was looking for alternative energy sources.
