Of course Pickens is saying we should embrace natural gas. He’s staked his fortune on it. Trusting him to tell us the truth about natural gas is like trusting a snake oil merchant to tell us the truth about snake oil.

As a life long Democrat I distrust this financial supporter of far right causes.
But, I listend to his spiel and cannot find a single point to argue against. Like it or not, by hook or crook natural gas has been saving our bacon for two years.
Every indication is gas will be there for us long after oil
prices go ballistic.

The issue of NG is a little bit bigger than the person T. Boone Pickens. All the signs are that indeed NG is next, unfortunately, after wood, coal and oil.
