Freeport LNG Development LP hopes to begin construction of the Quintana terminal later this year with production expected to start in 2007. Every two or three days, the facility will unload a tanker filled with imported liquefied natural gas, store it in two huge spherical tanks and then vaporize the gas and put it in a pipeline for distribution to customers.
