Egypt A Peak Oil Revolution

What is happening or just happened in Egypt could be the first Peak Oil revolution which is sure to replicate many times over in many countries around the world. The root cause of Tahrir I as well as Tahrir II was the economic condition of Egypt which put the middle class and the working classs under severe stress and made life unbearable for them.

Tahrir II was directly caused by the widespread fuel shortages and high energy prices. It is not just the craving for democracy or the opposition to Muslim Brotherhood, that led to these revolutions, but the despeartion of the people. In both these revolutions the army took over and people seemed to be happy! The underlying message is that when citizen’s life hit a dead end, people will throw away the rulers. New one will come and that one too will be thrown away sooner or later. Will it make life better for them? No. Here is a spine chilling video that opens a window to the future that awaits us, may be for all of us…

This is the beginning of the end of political stability. May be we are entering an age of political insanity, like what we see in the video here. When men turn against men, when religions divide , when races collide, when ethnic groups wipe out each other, when language becomes a weapon

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

    “When men turn against men, when religions divide, when races collide, when ethnic groups wipe out each other, when language becomes a weapon”

    We are going to miss good old couch potato pax americana, the best symbol of which was the tv remote.

    No, this is an *overpopulation* revolt. Too many people living in too small a space. Fuel shortages and rising prices are a *symptom* here-not the cause. Egypt will never have ‘democracy’, however you care to define that vague term, or economic prosperity-ever. Not with 80 million crowding into the river Nile delta and river system with 10s of millions more on the way in the coming decades.

    Its just not possible. Even if Egypt were still a net energy producer, it would only provide limited relief. The fact they are now net energy importers just makes the overpopulation issue and the instability it cant help but create, worse.

    DC, the over population certainly makes the situation worse. But oil is a finite resource. The over population just makes its depletion a lot faster. The oil would have been depleted anyway even if the population were in decline. It just would take longer. Oil is a one time gift and when its gone, its gone. But its the most master resource because it makes everything else work. It’s too good. This is why Egypt is important. It shows the devastating effects of oil depletion. This is the reality of peak oil.

    What would happen in the us if you couldn’t afford food or the fuel to go get it?

    According to infowars, Egypt has a homegrown Taliban of it’s own:

    They’re next.

    Infowars? That is another government mouthpiece. A guy getting rich sucking the blood of like minded sheeple.

    Yes, the world is going down and there is nothing going to stop it. It is just a matter of how and how soon. No-one will be immune. All will suffer. Those higher up the ladder in the first world will enjoy the most pain as they have farther to fall.

    That is absolute BS. Infowars represents the typical white libertarian/conservative constitutionalist gun-owner from middle America. For Christ sake, Alex Jones invited Jim Traficant!

    Infowars are 9/11-truthers! Infowars is at war with the government. Government mouthpiece.lol?

    “Yes, the world is going down and there is nothing going to stop it.”

    Industrial society as we know it is not ‘the world’.
