Around the world many countries subsidize oil prices to the consumer causing an unsustainable increase in demand.
Increasing internal demand is outpacing the available supply and causing prices to rise.
China and India are growing at 6-8% increasing their demand for more energy every year. This growth rate of energy use is not sustainable.
