I will watch this dream piece when I have time, but from the title and the blurb at the bottom, I can say that it is probably a waste of time. There is no way jobs are coming back to the us unless they are on farms and are labor to produce food and real necessities. Any other ideas are pure PBS (government) propaganda.

Jobs can come back to America after regime change in Washington and kicking out special interest groups and their globalist/NWO agenda’s. Abolish the globalist attitude and unlimited free trade and instead impose import tarifs to protect American industry and give it a chance to recover. Lowering wages is another way of making US industry competitive again. Goal is not to halt free trade but to make sure trade is balanced, read sustainable. In one word: isolationalism or in two words: America First.

In a resource depleted world this is going to happen anyway sooner or later, but proactively taking measures preparing for things to come is always wise.

Maybe there are too many people chasing too few jobs.
In the US LEGAL immigration adds over a million more people every year. How about we tie LEGAL immigration to the unemployment rate. When the unemployment rate is 6% or BELOW we let more people in. When it is ABOVE 6% we let less people immigrate.
The US Chamber of Commerce and the farm lobby love H1B and H2B and other visa programs. They love to bring in cheap labor that drives wages down.
It is time for every country to develop a plan to balance its population with its resources, food, water, energy and jobs.

NO, Arthur, they are NOT coming back. There is no longer the economy to support them. I’m talking about buying power, not numbers. Numbers are ‘feel good’ propaganda. If You make $1 million per year and a loaf of bread costs $1,000. and all other living expenses are similar, you are still making poverty wages. The Western society is built on debt and it has maxed out. The only direction now is down.
