IF it werent for the continual discovery of oil below 20,000 feet (16,000 is the gravity limit for fossil fuel penetration into the earths crust) the pesky abiotic oil theory might go away, but the lack of organic compounds in this oil is helping keep the theory alive.

I have a hard time wondering why its so important for some people to insist we are running out of oil? Even if we are, and they know a better way, why wouldnt they just follow the better path as they see it?

Oil has never run out and never will. It has been short from time to time but that was all politics and business. Its high price reflects how politics has debased the currency, not that oil is expensive. I can still buy a gallon of gas with 2 1964 dimes.

If it werent for all the political costs of oil extraction including taxes and costly regulation, oil would actually be cheaper when measured in the gold and silver currencies of the recent past.

First..SOS, give a reference to that 20,000 depth source. I think you read it wrong.

As for being confused? No. Anyone with a brain that still functions knows that we are on the downside of the energy curve.
We are also on the downsixe of the food curve.
The drinkable water curve.
The economic curve.
The person luxury curve.
Etc.

We are regressing back to the pre-coal/oil days and will reach them by the end of the century if there is not a nuclear war that ends it all before that.

Dream on SOS. Put the blame anywhere, but it is the end of the pretend “American Dream”.
