Iran Seeks to Build New ‘Hub’ for Crude Exports

Production

Iran will build a $5.2 billion export terminal in the southern port city of Jask and turn it into the new “hub” for crude exports, the Oil Ministry’s website, Shana, reported.

Some 20 million barrels of crude will be kept at the storage terminal, which will be located on the Gulf of Oman, east of the Strait of Hormuz, Pirouz Mousavi, head of the Iranian Oil Terminals Co. said in the report published today.

Iran also plans to build a pipeline from the northern port of Neka on the Caspian Sea to Jask, that will be have the capacity to transfer a million oil barrels a day, Mousavi said without giving a timeline for the project’s completion.

Iran’s largest oil terminal is located on Kharg Island. Iran is under a series of international financial and trade sanctions over its nuclear program which have delayed its energy projects. A European Union embargo on Iranian oil is set to come into force on July 1.

Its pretty clear the reasons the amerikans are harrassing Iran have precious little to do with phantom nuclear weapons, and everything do to with Irans desire to sell Oil not only outside of US dollar system, but to create a whole new infastructure from the bourse to this facility. Amerika AND its puppet states in gulf council have a lot of reasons to hate Iran, they seek to create an alternative to NY-London-Dollar Monoloply. The US is waging a bloodless war to destroy the Euro, they have few qualms about waging a very bloody real war to stop Iran from offering the one thing amerikas corporte dictatorship cant stand, an alternative.

BINGO! You got it right, DC. As usual.

Too bad the sheeple in the Empire do not wake up long enough to see that they are being destroyed by their own government.

Bill, I am afraid that most ‘sheeple’ applaud their government and it’s imperial aspirations. America is collectively convinced that they are the Good Guys of history and can do no wrong. In reality the US is manouvering itself in a position of dangerous isolation.

It looks like Iran is building a 5 billion practicing target for the US airforce.
