The global water crisis will shake humanity to its core

The global water crisis will shake humanity to its core thumbnail

You don’t hear much about the water crisis in the United States. Water is still cheap here and our borders contain a relatively large freshwater supply.

But in some places the crisis is in flames.

1.6 billion people live in regions with absolute water scarcity and by 2025 two-thirds of the world’s population could be living under water stressed conditions.

Late energy analyst Matthew Simmons warned this was scarier than peak oil: “As global population grows, water usage has to rise for sanitation, food production and modern energy creation. It is unclear whether this can happen.”

The following slides contain alarming charts and maps. You can also check out guides from Citi and Jefferies on how to invest in water scarcity.

Does the Peak Oil group have to post so many ads for investments? I started to read this for some real info and soon realized that it was just an ad for Citi and Jeffries and no real info, just spin.

The ever growing global population in a world of limited resources just adds to the problem. Access to family planning services needs to be available to all that want it. The worlds resources are finite. Endless population growth is not sustainable.

How to make money off the looming water crisis! Capitalist vultures circling in the sky. ROTFLMAO.

There is something wrong when you can mention a coming humanitarian crisis and then how to profit from it shortly thereafter.

Hub, that is why capitalism is killing us. It is all about wealth, not happiness. In the GDP, divorce, sickness, wars, death. births, ALL produce consumption/money/profits for someone. That is why they are so dominant in our Western lives today. A few want it all. The Hell with the rest of us. We are only a means for them to gain that wealth. They produce nothing of value, just destruction.

You can live forever without oil. You can live maybe 4 days without water. How much is water worth?
