Did this guy just take Richard Heinbergs ideas? Even the title is the same pretty much. Come on buddy talk about something new!

It’s not what he says, but how he ties it all together for those not educated enough to read Heinberg’s stuff. In the US today, most young people cannot comprehend anything that takes more than 5 seconds to read….think Facebook.
Every high school science course should show this video. But, they won’t. They are too busy teaching ‘creationism’ and other fables.

Dusko, Richard Heinberg cannot be everywhere at the same time. The fact that Heinberg has already said that 2+2=4 does not oblige this speaker to say that 2+2=5, just to avoid being accused of being a copy cat. The story of peakoil s complicated enough for the average citizen to comprehend, so there is plenty of room for many instructors. And an understanding by large parts of the public is a necessary precondition to enable politicians to implement draconian measures, if they become necessary.

Substitution, is he kidding?
I think he’s in denial about what’s coming.
In the near future, forget about the stupid car, even electric. As JHK likes to say, we’ll be lucky if we can still use trains, forget about high-speed.
He forgot Peak Humans, which is coming.
