Plan for higher energy bills: Duncan

Ontario homeowners and businesses will see higher home heating and electricity bills next year and shouldn’t expect any rebates, the province’s energy minister said Friday.

A hot summer that had air conditioners working almost non-stop in many households and businesses sent the cost of electricity soaring and that increase will likely be felt next year when hydro rates are adjusted, Dwight Duncan said.
