Subscribe Free Today at Oil, Cheap Oil has defined us, our economy, our nations, and our way of life. Everything centers around Oil! Oil is even required to manufacture and install alternative energy. The US alone has a fleet of about 210 million automobiles and light trucks. Because of cheap oil, more than half of the American population lives in the suburbs. FutureMoneyTrends.com is projecting an oil crisis this decade that will not only change our lifestyles radically, it will change our world, ending globalization and restoring local economies. I think we need to learn how to reload ammo and clean our rifles.

Gale, you have the wrong idea. You can have a weapons cache like the Pentagon, but, you have to keep in mind that so do most other people in the US. People more ruthless and determined than you. A bunker mentality is only going to make it a few days or weeks longer before you are killed for what you have. And you have to rely on others for your safety, so why not build a community that works together and presents a force big enough to discourage roving bands? The easiest way for a roving band to defeat you is a siege where you are trapped in your home/castle and unable to get out. Classic battle technique.

Yes, learning to reload ammo has limited utility, when all the sub-compoments for our chemically powered slug-thowers, all come form, you guessed it!, industrial, fossil-fuel powered factories and distribution. Once those go away, so do the reloads, and the complex chemicals and HQ metal that ammo requires. Or put another way, todays high-tech rifles and guns, will soon become tommorows awkward and clumsy clubs. Better to invest in bows, or cross-bows, than rifles. Unless you plan on sitting on a literal mountain of ammo, which presents problems in itself, no one will be making there own ammo once the gun shops are all closed or looted.
Community can offer security and safety, diging a hole in ground, not so much.

Fresh, organic, non-gmo, non-hybrid seeds.
Seeds.
Seriously.
