As gasoline prices continue to rise, the possibility of powering your car with fuel made from soybeans, recycled vegetable oil or corn doesn’t seem so far-fetched anymore.
All these methods are viable options to help with the gasoline crisis, but getting the public, the oil industry and the government to change their mindset about alternative fuels is an uphill battle, experts say.
